CSR - Comparison across different countries

20 Aug 2007|Added Value

Not only Germany is dealing with the issue of social responsibility. What about the other countries in the EU – how interested are they in topics relevant for their society? Are social issues higher on the agenda than ecology? Who is seen as responsible:  the individual, the Government or companies? It is also interesting to see how respondents evaluate the various sectors and brands. There are clear differences in perception, even within an industry. Do “good” brands exist? Which industries are perceived as behaving responsibly and are what are the differences between countries? Not to forget the question about the economic benefits. Is responsible behavior rewarded by the consumers? Are they prepared to pay more for products from sustainably acting businesses? Do they differ between the industries? For which brands is ethical behavior worthwhile? And again, how is that different across nations?
